“Nikon is pleased to announce a buffer memory expansion service for the D3 Digital SLR camera. After the camera has been upgraded, the number of shots possible with a single burst of continuous shooting is increased. This increase in shooting performance will expand the range of shooting possibilities.”

Nikon D60 Review by Photoxels

The Nikon D60 DSLR is for perfect for beginner amateur photographers who desire a fast and responsive DSLR that produces excellent image quality. It can serve very well as the “Family dSLR” — a category that targets families who desire the SLR experience and image quality combined with point-and-shoot ease-of-use.

Advanced photographers will miss the following features:
- Ability to autofocus with all Nikon lenses: because the D60 lacks its own lens motor, only the newer lenses with their own AF motor can autofocus
- No Auto Exposure Bracketing, but you can manually adjust +/- 5 EVs in increments of 1/3EV
- RAW + JPEG: JPEG is basic quality only
